Being proud to be an American is an essential part of serving in our United States Congress, but apparently certain members of the far-Left — who took an oath to support and defend the Constitution — have loyalties somewhere else.

One such member is Congresswoman Delia Ramirez (D-IL), who spoke in Mexico recently and said “I’m a proud Guatemalan before I’m an American.”

Rep. Ramirez serves on both the House Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs Committees and is married to an illegal immigrant. If she isn’t proud to be an American, then she should not be serving in the U.S. House of Representatives!
